PROJECT SPOTLIGHT / AL AIN, UAE

Artificial lake water treatment.
3 million litres per day.

FAST modular clarification and filtration for artificial-lake water recirculation in Al Ain.

YORA’s solution treats and recirculates lake water through screening, chemical conditioning, clarification and filtration, followed by UV disinfection. The process focuses on suspended-solids removal, with coordinated equipment and modular treatment compartments.

HOW THE TREATMENT WORKS

Each stage.
A clear purpose.

Screening and intake protection

A coarse bar screen intercepts larger debris before the lifting pumps. A downstream drum screen removes smaller material through 1 mm openings.

Coagulation and flocculation

Controlled PAC and PAM dosing brings fine suspended particles together into larger flocs for separation.

Inclined-tube clarification

Two parallel clarification trains separate the flocs from the water. Settled solids pass to a dedicated sludge-holding system for removal.

Sand and cartridge filtration

Clarified water passes through quartz-sand filters and 100-micron cartridge filters before disinfection.

UV disinfection and recirculation

Filtered water passes through UV disinfection, then enters treated-water storage before being pumped back to the lake.

ENGINEERING & INTEGRATION

A coordinated FAST
treatment package.

FAST modular compartments accommodate the clarification process alongside the intermediate storage, chemical dosing, filtration and control systems. The arrangement brings the treatment stages together in a coordinated package, with access for operation and maintenance.
