TECHNOLOGY & CONFIGURATION

FAST modular treatment systems

The modular platform is the starting point—not a fixed treatment recipe. Process tanks, internal partitions and stiffening are designed together with aeration, mixing, solids separation and controls.

A/O treatment

Anoxic and oxic zones support denitrification, organic removal and nitrification.

A²/O treatment

An anaerobic stage is added where biological phosphorus removal is required.

Membrane bioreactor

Biological treatment and membrane solids separation support compact layouts and low-turbidity effluent.

THE FAST MODULAR PLATFORM

Process modules.
A coordinated treatment plant.

Process modules, interconnections and access are coordinated around the treatment duty and site layout.

PRELIMINARY SELECTION

Define the duty.
Select the configuration.

Published ranges support initial selection. Final equipment, dimensions, materials and performance commitments follow the confirmed project requirements.

Design bandCapacity, m³/dayTypical arrangement
Compact10–100Single compact module
Small>100–500Single or parallel modules
Medium>500–2,500Parallel process modules
Large>2,500–10,000Multi-train modular plant
Multi-train>10,000–40,000Phased treatment trains
High / mega-scale>40,000–100,000+Engineered parallel-train architecture

These are whole-plant capacity bands, not the capacity of one tank. Process volumes, train count, footprint and guarantees follow the actual wastewater and required effluent quality.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Before you specify.

What does FAST mean?

Factory-built, Assembled, Steel, Tank system. It describes the modular construction platform; the biological process is selected separately for the project.

Is FAST an electrical container?

No. The core system is the engineered steel process-tank platform. A containerized electrical or control room is an optional supporting part of the wider plant.

Can the plant be expanded in stages?

Yes. Parallel modules and treatment trains can support phased capacity. Hydraulics, foundations, utilities and future tie-ins must be planned for the intended expansion.

Which tank materials are available?

SS304, SS316 and coated carbon steel are selected for wastewater chemistry, exposure and lifecycle requirements. Plate thickness, stiffeners, supports and load cases are verified for the project.
